To find your driver 'on the other side of the fence'. Always an anxious moment at first arrival to slowly relaxing to trust God for His perfect timing.
And then walks up Mikey, my driver with yellow shirt and black NY hat. God is Faithful and off we go on a normal 2 1/2 hour drive to Jacmel turns into five with traffic!
The last leg is up the mountain and Mikey declares its better to drive at night as at least you can see the oncoming lights.
The daytime results in taxis rounding curves right into your lane resulting in some blindside curves in broad daylight. You would think light might help for driving....
As we enter Jacmel Mikey mentions another 3 white sheet day meaning more death from the clinic. 'I never thought I would get use to the smell of death'.
Love your family and don't take for granted what is right in front of you...
Jesus open our hearts, slow us down
