Off we go towards the airport ever wondering if your plane will arrive and the adventure of roof-top suburban drives through needle-thread passes with no traffic lights in sight....ahhh Haiti, we'll miss you..
Guys, please don't complain about traffic in the Ville,....ever! I'll try and remember too...
The plane was on time in Haiti and all is well and we make it through customs only to find out our plane in Miami needs repair and we will miss our connection home.
Seriously.....a stateside flight. We debate options and its make it to Chicago and then overnight.
The nurses from Norton had to work so the team split like the Red Sea and they began a red-eye car ride home and the construction crew and Dr. Crafton stayed at the hotel.
We wondered how the artificially cooled air was refreshing our spirits and kept us sane for a first night past four hours sleep. .....they called it air-conditioning!
Pray for the nurses...they went straight to work...may God bless their faithfulness.
All to Jesus renown and glory for His Kingdom, Amen.
(More reflections coming next week....)
